UO Museum of Natural and Cultural History store to host open house
EUGENE, Ore. -- (Nov. 13, 2007) -- Three local authors will sign copies of their books during the annual holiday open house on Wednesday, Nov. 28, at Past and Presents, the store at the University of Oregon Museum of Natural and Cultural History.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 1680 E. 15th Ave. Live music and free cider will be provided. Admission is free. For more information call 541-346-3024.
Poet Mir Starlin will autograph copies of her book, "Wait a Minute," from noon to 1 p.m. Later in the day, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., award-winning author Judith Berg, will sign copies of "The Otter Spirit, while Sarah Robertson, Register Guard garden columnist, signs copies of "A Year in the Garden."

Museum hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays. Admission is $3 for adults; $2 for seniors and youths ages 17 and under and $8 for families (two adults and up to four youths). Museum members, university faculty and staff and students are admitted free. Admission is free for the public on Wednesdays.
