STEPHANIE KILKENNY
EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION: Born and raised in Warwick, New York, Stephanie Kilkenny graduated with a bachelor of science degree in psychology from Ursinus College in Pennsylvania 1993. After graduating, she and a friend moved to San Diego in search of a moderate climate with minimal rainfall.
CAREER: After working as an account manager and operations manager in San Diego, she decided to pursue her passions for photography and interior design. She earned her interior design certificate from San Diego Mesa College, then started ADAIR interiors in 2001. The company offers residential and commercial interior design services. She also sells original photography from her travel experiences.
A DUCK MARRIAGE: Stephanie and Pat Kilkenny married on October 23, 2004. Stephanie chose the date based on their lucky numbers (his is 23, hers is 10). Pat agreed, on one condition: that they also attend the Duck football game against Stanford that day. The same friend who joined Stephanie on her trek to the West Coast married them in her back yard in San Diego. Due to Pat’s devotion to the Oregon Ducks, Stephanie agreed during the ceremony to be a "constant supporter and frequent spectator of Duck football ... in good seasons and in bad." Then the newlyweds flew to Northern California with their youngest brothers—the best men in their ceremony—to see the Duck victory.
