Latest installments of 'A History of University of Oregon' film to premiere May 30

EUGENE, Ore. -- (May 27, 2008) -- The final two installments of "A History of the University of Oregon," a three-hour documentary will premiere from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 30.

The film traces the UO's history from its beginnings in a muddy field to its status as Oregon's flagship university.

The latest installments of the story, covering 1926 to 1960 and 1961 to 1989, will premiere at a free and public viewing in Room 41 in the Media Services portion of Knight Library, 1501 Kincaid St. The first portion of the three-part project, detailing 1857-1925, has already been released.

A DVD of the complete story, from 1857 to 1989, will be available at The Duck Store for $19.95.
