Free Eugene 08 Festival features array of attractions
No ticket? Soak up the excitement at the free Eugene 08 Festival
While world-class athletes compete for a place on the 2008 Olympic Team inside Hayward Field, the Eugene 08 Festival will be the dynamic epicenter for connecting fans to the entire Olympic Trials experience. The Olympic-Village-like experience will be the focal point for spectators before and after each competition session and provide a way for fans without tickets to participate in the event.
Admission to the Eugene 08 Festival is free. Attractions will include:
- Two Jumbo Video Screens with simulcast of the competition
- An Entertainment Stage
- A Sports Bar
- A Food Court
- Interactive Exhibits by our Partners
- Kid's Track & Field Interactive Area
In addition to these attractions in the area surrounding Hayward Field, the Eugene 08 Festival will include live concerts and activities around the community which will expand and enhance the experience for thousands of fans. Reflecting the spirit of our community, all aspects of the Eugene 08 Festival will incorporate sustainable materials wherever possible.
