Take your pick of Olympic Trials/Eugene 08 informational sessions
Bring-you-own-lunch meetings set for Feb. 5, Feb. 6, offer campus community the latest on Trials
University of Oregon faculty and staff are invited to informational sessions from noon - 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 5, or Wednesday, Feb. 6, in the EMU Fir Room. The purpose of the sessions is to provide information about the upcoming Olympic Team Trials -- Track & Field and the Eugene 08 Festival to be held on campus in late June and early July.
The casual, bring-your-own-lunch sessions will share information about the event, UO's presence at the Eugene 08 Festival, UO employment policies regarding staff involvement in the Trials, and diversity preparations including innovative summer camps for youth.
The Office of Public and Media Relations encourages staff members and summer session faculty to attend one of the two dates for the information session. Due to a packed house at an earlier session, those interested are encouraged to arrive early. To help gauge attendance, please write to roses@uoregon.edu and indicate which day you plan on taking part.
