Patrick Phillips' opening talk Jan. 13 in the lecture series "150 Years Since the 'Origin': A Darwin Bicentennial Birthday Celebration" drew a full house and sent visitors to an overflow room above the lecture room in 182 Lillis Hall. The next talk will be Tuesday, Feb. 10, with the UO's Warren Holmes speaking on the "The Evolution of Cooperation." His talk will begin at 7:30 p.m. The talks, held monthly, will cover the evolution of cooperation and society, the evolution of molecular complexity and the interaction between evolution and religion.
