- It's UO Day, March 1, a family affair, at the Science Factory! (next to Autzen)
UO professors and gradueate students will host hands-on demos at the Science Factory, 2300 Leo Harris Parkway, Eugene, next to Autzen Stadium, during “University Day,” Saturday, March 1. Visitors will learn about zebrafish used in neuroscience and look at them under a microscope, participate in volcano experiments made with food, attend a presentation on Black Holes by a former NASA intern at 2 p.m., experience what lung disease from smoking feels like, use an electron microscope and more. The whole family can learn together. (10 am – 4 pm, all ages welcome, $4 admission, free for members)
