- Upholding the ideas of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Three University of Oregon employees -- Rodney Bloom (physical education), Armando I. Bravo (high school equivalency program) and Kimi Mojica (student life) -- were honored Jan. 24 as the 2008 winners of the UO's Martin Luther King Jr. Award. They were chosen for representing and upholding the ideals supported by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., "such as demonstrating moral courage, promoting social justice and embodying a humanitarian spirit."
